Anthony and Andrew, the founders and principals of Unik Advertising, have over 40-years’ combined experience in education marketing. Their intention in founding the company was to combine superior options for youth-marketers with seasoned experience and deep understanding of online marketing — while providing excellent client service.
Anthony Bumbaca, Co-Founder & CEO
Since January 2009, Anthony has been an integral part of Unik Advertising International’s success, serving as Co-Founder & CEO with extensive experience in digital marketing and sales management.
Anthony began his career in the IT industry in 1992 and served as Business Development Executive with InaCom, for International customers such as Texas ISD, Walmart and SensorMatic.
In 2000, Anthony moved to the direct marketing space where he learned digital marketing and data management as a Business Development Manager for Equifax Marketing Services. Anthony managed many agencies that included clients like KIA Motors and Sprint.
In 2003, Anthony co-founded a company called 1 Touch Marketing. Over the next five years, the company grew from two employees to 53, with revenues growing steadily year after year. He was a vital part of all aspects of the company ranging from sales, marketing, training and operations. In 2008, Anthony negotiated the sale of 1 Touch Marketing to Options Media. After which, he served as EVP of sales for 1 year.
Anthony is married with two beautiful children ages 4 & 6 and spends his time between Florida, New York and Costa Rica. In his spare time, he enjoys travel with his wife and children and tries to relax whenever the rare opportunity presents itself.
Andrew Marino, Co-Founder & President
Andrew is Co-Founder & President for Unik Advertising. In his role, he provides company leadership, strategic insight, account management and oversees a team of professionals providing digital media services to a variety of clients across a broad spectrum of categories.
Throughout the course of his 20-plus-year career in digital direct marketing he designed, deployed, analyzed and managed over 5,000 email programs for leading clients. He specializes in developing strategies for integrating digital media into an overall marketing matrix including traditional direct marketing.
His successes led him to become a managing partner at Banner Direct in 2009, and then later, the director of account management in the programmatic digital media firm, MediaCrossing, where he founded the account management division. His history of success has led him to found similar divisions at MorningStar Media Inc., 43 DPI LLC, and BiggerFish Marketing—the creative agency partner of Unik Advertising, LLC.
Andrew is the author of dozens of business articles, white papers and guest blog posts on email- and digital marketing. He’s also spoken at a number of marketing industry conferences. His new non-fiction book, 101 Rules for Digital Marketing Your Small Business, will be released in 2017.
He has two beautiful children, and lives and works in New York. When he’s not working or writing, he can be found…. writing. Yeah. He’s the author of several successful novels and is always at work on the next.
